New Music: Sevyn Streeter & Luke James - 'Nothing Even Matters'
In honor of Valentine’s Day, Sevyn Streeter and Luke James team up on a collaboration for the lovers. The R&B duo puts their sultry spin on Lauryn Hill’s Miseducation classic “Nothing Even Matters.” Sevyn kicks things off before Luke joins her for a harmonious duet.
“Now the skies could fall / Not even if my boss should call,” sings Sevyn. “The world it seems so very small / ‘Cause nothin’ even matters, at all.”
Luke James is fresh off starring in BET’s New Edition biopic, while Sevyn just wrapped her “Girl Disrupted Tour” over the weekend and is gearing up to release her debut album this year. Last month, she dropped her latest single “Fallen” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace.
This Valentine’s Day, Sevyn is also holding it down for the single ladies. The bikini-clad singer posts up by the pool drinking wine and chills on the couch eating pizza in a series of Instagram pics dubbed “Single Girl’s Guide to a Happy Valentines Day.”
