The Weeknd Kicks Off ‘Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour’

It has begun. On Friday (Feb. 17), The Weeknd launched his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour” in Stockholm, Sweden with a hit-filled parade and a visual spectacle.

Much of the aesthetic delight came from a futuristic set design, crafted by Es Devlin, who’s worked with Kanye West and Beyoncé. Featuring a large, illuminated spacecraft as its backdrop, the show also included a long runway for the Starboy to walk up and down on.

But the set list also featured songs off his latest chart-topping album Starboy, including “Secrets,” “Stargirl Interlude,” “Sidewalks,” “False Alarm,” “Party Monster,” and “Six Feet Under.”

Afterwards, all Abel could say was that the show was “pretty fucking crazy.” And he’s just getting started. The “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour” is slated to continue through Europe before hitting North America on April 25 in Vancouver.
