Bruno Mars Performs 'That's What I Like' at the Brits

Hot off his Grammy performance of “That’s What I Like,” Bruno Mars took his act overseas for another performance of the 24K Magic standout at the 2017 Brit Awards on Wednesday (Feb. 22).

Dressed in a vintage red, blue, and green shirt, Bruns joined his Hooligans in front of an out-of-this-world light show at the O2 Arena in London for a smooth rendition of the infectious song.

Much like he did at the Grammys, Bruno also found time to “break it down” in the middle of the set. “Can we break it down?” he sang. “It’s tradition now. This is the part, ladies, this is the part. It’s tradition. This is the part in the song where we have to break it down. We’ve come a long way.”

Bringing back ’90s R&B flavor, Mars provided just what the crowd seemed to like, and it wasn’t his first time doing so. In 2014, he performed “Treasure” and in 2012, he did “Just the Way You Are” at the Brits.

Despite rocking the house with his flashback style and funky cut, Mars walked away from the show empty-handed. Nominated for International Male Solo Artist, Bruns lost the trophy to Drake.

Earlier this month, the pop superstar not only performed “That’s What I Like” at the Grammys, he also paid tribute to Prince with a cover of “Let’s Go Crazy.”

Up next, Bruno is hitting the road with supporting act Anderson .Paak on the “24K Magic World Tour.” The global run kicks off March 28 in Antwerp and comes to an end Nov. 11 in Los Angeles.
