Future Performs 'Incredible' on 'Ellen'

  /  03.02.2017

HNDRXX takes over daytime.

As promised, Future delivered an “Incredible” performance on “The Ellen Show” on Thursday (March 2), performing the standout from his latest LP.

Standing on elaborate rugs, backed by a live band, DJ Esco, and Zaytoven, Pluto launched into the fun-loving jam.

“I’ve been having trust issues,” sang Future, while sporting a white hoodie with Jimi Hendrix’s mugshot on it. “But I’ve been having way better luck since you.”

The Freeband Gang rapper’s self-titled album topped the Billboard 200 when it was released last month. Unveiled a week after that effort, HNDRXX is projected to top the chart too, with an estimated total of 110,000-130,000 units. If it does lead the Billboard 200, Future will be the first artist ever to have back-to-back No. 1 debuts.

The work doesn’t stop there. Hendrix recently joined Nicki Minaj in Miami to shoot a new video, where they laughed, shared smiles, and rolled around in a Rolls-Royce.

Future’s “Ellen” performance also fueled a rumor that Hendrix was trying to release three albums in three consecutive weeks, which was later debunked by management.
