Wale Announces 'The Shine Tour'

  /  03.07.2017

Wale is “Running Back” to the road.

The Maybach Music rapper is heading out on his 15-date “Shine Tour” in support of his forthcoming album Shine. Kicking off May 5 in Atlanta, the run will continue through cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, before wrapping May 27 in Boston.

A Spotify pre-sale will begin March 8 with local pre-sales starting March 9. General sales start March 10 at 10 a.m. local time.

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated Shine is set to arrive later this year. It follows the singles “Groundhog Day,” the Lil Wayne-assisted “Running Back,” and “Fashion Week” featuring G-Eazy. Folarin also recently remixed Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and Burna Boy’s “Soke.”

Last year, Wale treated fans to Summer on Sunset, a mixtape with appearances by Cam’ron, Ty Dolla $ign, and Eric Bellinger. The year before that, he dropped his fourth LP, The Album About Nothing.
