Diddy to Debut Bad Boy Documentary at Tribeca Film Festival

  /  03.08.2017

Last year, Diddy marked the 20th anniversary of Bad Boy with a tour. This year, he celebrates the label’s legacy yet again with his Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story documentary.

The film is set to make its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 19-30 in New York.

“I am blessed to be introducing our film at the Tribeca Film Festival,” Diddy told Billboard. “Tribeca brings the biggest names in entertainment and culture together with visionaries from across industries to celebrate the power of storytelling. There is no better place to share the story behind the Bad Boy movement and this unprecedented musical event.”

Directed by Daniel Kaufman, the Live Nation production will explore Bad Boy’s history, including the death of the late Notorious B.I.G. The doc will also take fans behind-the-scenes for last year’s 20th anniversary shows at Barclays Center, including what it took for Diddy to get the Bad Boy family together during three weeks of rehearsals.

Can’t Stop will feature appearances by integral members of the label’s storied run, including Lil’ Kim, Ma$e, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, The Lox, and 112, among others.
