Watch the Trailer for Rae Sremmurd's Short Film 'Sremmbreak'
Just in time for spring break, Rae Sremmurd unleashes Sremmbreak.
Created by Slim Jxmmi, Swae Lee, Mike WiLL Made-It, Interecope Records, and famed director Dave Meyers, the 25-minute short film finds the EarDrummers duo in Panama City Beach, on a yacht, and at an infamous party.
Filmed as a comedic mockumentary, the short features Mike WiLL, “Wild N’ Out’s” DC Young Fly, Odd Future affiliate Taco Bennet, actress Luenell Campbell, host Paul Elia, and social media stars Julz Goddard and Baddie Winkle.
Songs from SremmLife 2 appear throughout the short, including the Tupelo twosome’s latest single, “Swang.”
Released in August, SremmLife 2 was powered by “Black Beatles” and its viral success. The Gucci Mane-assisted single popularized the #MannequinChallenge and got the attention of Paul McCartney. It also became the duo’s first No. 1 on the Hot 100.
Next month, Jxmmi and Swae are joining The Weeknd’s “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour” through North America. The run starts April 25 in Vancouver and ends June 9 in Cincinnati.
