Nicki Minaj Blasts PARTYNEXTDOOR Over Ghostwriting Insinuations
Nicki takes on PARTY.
Shortly after dissing Remy Ma on “No Frauds” and “Changed It,” Nicki Minaj is coming after PARTYNEXTDOOR for insinuating that he ghostwrote “Regret in Your Tears.”
“Party Next Door had NOTHING to do w/ #RegretInYourTears – ni**a aint never heard that song a day in his life. Bless y’all heart,” she tweeted. “Not sure why he was ‘liking’ tweets. Maybe it was just ‘funny’ to him. Maybe he was…’hacked’. Lol. Either way. #DisTewMuch FOH.”

Earlier that day, PND liked a series of tweets about the subject. One linked to “Regret in Your Tears” and added: “*awaits for @partynextdoor reference track.”

Last year, PARTY’s demo for Rihanna’s “Work” leaked, and Nicki referenced that in a subsequent tweet: “he musta thought the caption said ‘work’. Lol the internet gettin spooky, man. Like da ni**a NEVER heard the song a DAY in his LIFE.”

But that wasn’t the only tweet PND liked. “I hope they paying you good money for them songs bro you keep saving people,” said one fan. Another added: “Your ghostwriting does not go unnoticed my brother. Real fans still hear you.”

This is a peculiar dispute given the fact that PND is signed to Nicki’s Young Money brother Drake’s OVO imprint. Adding to that, Minaj and PARTY are both featured on Major Lazer’s latest single, “Run Up.”
But PND wasn’t the only one liking less-than-flattering tweets about Nicki yesterday. Remy Ma was doing the same. One of those tweets bashed “No Frauds”: “Man, @RealRemyMa had 48 hours & made a A+. @NICKIMINAJ had 3 weeks, help from @LilTunechi & @Drake, turned it in late, & made a F. #shETHER.”
Remy’s likes also included a fan’s bashing of #3PackFromParis: “I need a Shether baptism after hearing these three trash pop songs this wack chick just dropped.” Plus, she liked a dispute of Nicki’s $500,000 challenge: “Why did @NICKIMINAJ challenge @RealRemyMa to drop a hit diss track, when she already bodied her on sheter and it took her over 72h to reply.” Remy liked all of the above.
