Angel Haze is taking “Control” once again.

The Detroit rapper sets a serene scene with her new spoken word track “Control,” which arrived on Monday (March 13).

Over calming flute sounds, Angel offers tranquility through poetry. “Frozen, casted in shadows,” she says. “Dragged out to the wind, hidden beneath the garden / What if roses have stories they cannot tell? / What if God’s voice is in the quietest things I’ve said?”

Along with “Control,” Angel is also teasing “Frida,” which she first hinted about in August. Her new Twitter name seems to indicate “Frida” is now dropping Thursday (March 16).

In September of last year, Angel released her Back to the Woods project. Two months later, she dropped “Resurrection.”

Now, hear her take “Control” below.
