New Music: G-Eazy & Kehlani - 'Good Life'

  /  03.16.2017

G-Eazy and Kehlani put the “good” in “Good Life” on the latest single from the star-studded Fate of the Furious soundtrack.

Over high-octane production, Young Gerald and Lil Lani toast to the “Good Life” following a life filled with stress and doubt.

“Raise a cup up for all my day ones,” sings Kehlani. “Two middle fingers for the haters / Life’s only getting greater / Straight up from nothing, we go / Higher than the highest skyscraper / No need to leave, we major / The proof is in the paper.”

“I told my moms not to stress no more,” adds Gerald. “Go hit the Bentley store / No credit card debts no more / I bought the crib, it’s in escrow now / You don’t ever have to worry about how / You gon’ pay rent no more.”

This isn’t the duo’s first collaboration. Kehlani, who recently had to postpone her European “SweetSexySavage Tour” due to hernia surgery, also joined G-Eazy on the emotionally-charged “Everything Will Be OK” off 2015’s When It’s Dark Out.

Marking the Fast & Furious franchise’s eighth installment, the Fate of the Furious’ soundtrack features the previously-released “Go Off” by Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, and Travis Scott. It also includes contributions by Migos, Post Malone, Wiz Khalifa, and Pitbull.
