Listen to Hustle Gang's 'Trenches Reloaded (Remix)' feat. T.I. & Peanut Da Don

  /  03.29.2017

After doing his thing on the aptly-titled “Do My Thing,” T.I. announces Hustle Gang’s forthcoming album Get Dough or Die 3.

The King of the South made the announcement with a remix to the late Peanut Da Don’s “Trenches Reloaded” banger off last year’s Back On Simpson 2. “#LongLiveDaDon,” he tweeted. “You will forever live through this music! #HustleGang album OTW #GDOD3.”

Using Peanut’s original as the remix’s foundation, TIP raps about his upbringing and his rise to stardom from poverty. “Came from nothing,” he raps. “Started ’80-somethin’ / Really had to get it out the bottom though / Please believe a ni**a had dreams / Still was trappin’ like there’s no tomorrow though.” Later, he adds: “Long live Da Don.”

Peanut’s rhymes from the original remain intact. “Don’t be fucking with them ni**as,” he advises. “Do your dirt all by your lonely / Same shooter turn witness / Never show them folks the cash / Never show them folks the stash / Respect a man if he deserves it / And never take from whom has.”

The first Get Dough Or Die project dropped in 2013 followed by the sequel in 2014.

Up next, TIP and his family are coming back for the final season of “The Family Hustle.” He’s also heading out on the “Hustle Gang Tour,” which kicks off April 26 in Mobile, Ala.
