I See You

New Music: Kap G feat. Chris Brown - 'I See You'

  /  04.06.2017

Kap G and Chris Brown connect on their long-awaited collaboration “I See You.”

Over an infectious bounce, Breezy kicks off the Supa Jefe single, which was first teased in November. “I see you looking my way,” he sings. “I see you back at my place / Ooh girl, I see you back in my bed / Ooh girl, and don’t you fuck with my head.”

Then Kap delivers the first verse. “I’ma fuck you in some style,” he warns. “I’ma fuck you in Supreme / You know I don’t play around, I be balling like Kareem / I be flexing with my team.”

Repping OHB, Breezy comes through with the second verse. “Driving in that new shit,” he raps. “Walked in the house like ‘I Love Lucy’ / Can’t say shit to me / Respect me like Hov girl, I got The Blueprint.”

Finally, the duo closes things out by trading bars on the third verse. “Bitches know they hoein’,” raps Chris. “Ni**as still take ’em back.” Kap adds: “I was probably with your bitch, she was rolling with the pack.”

Kap spoke with Rap-Up earlier this year about the collaboration. “He’s super talented,” said the Mexican-American MC. “He’s very hands-on, he’s a genius. He knows what he’s doing, he knows what he wants. He feels the music. When he’s in the booth, you can just tell that he really feels what he’s saying…I rock with him. It was incredible…When I was young, Breezy had all the girls. Still do now. It’s just crazy for me to be working with him now.”

Fans who want more from Chris and Kap can find them on the road with Fabolous and O.T. Genasis on “The Party Tour,” which is set to run through May 23 in Los Angeles.

Supa Jefe drops April 14.
