Video: Aminé - 'REDMERCEDES'
Coming off his double platinum hit “Caroline,” Aminé drops off a video for his newest single “REDMERCEDES.”
Written and directed by the Portland rapper himself, the cinematic and comical clip co-stars Leon Bridges, Kari Faux, and Aminé’s friends Yosief and Jon, who starred in the “Caroline” video. Aminé pulls double duty, playing a used car dealer at Quincy’s Auto Group and one of the white customers. He and his preppy friends come through to check out the cars before driving off in, you guessed it, a red Mercedes.
Each character committed to the role, undergoing more than five hours of makeup to disguise their identities.
As he gears up for his debut album, Aminé will hit the road with upcoming stops in San Francisco (April 12), Philadelphia (May 1), Boston (May 5), Miami (May 7), and Chicago (Aug. 5). He is also the latest artist to star in Vevo’s LIFT series.
