Tyga is in trouble with the law once again. Following a night out at Avenue Nightclub in Hollywood, the 27-year-old rapper was pulled over by police for having paper plates and running a red light, according to E! News. Soon, he was cuffed and placed in a police vehicle.
Before going inside of the patrol car, King Gold Chains spoke to paparazzi nearby. “I have paper plates on my car,” he said. “I just bought it. I didn’t do nothing wrong.”
TMZ reports that he was taken to the local police station for a possible DUI. He was released approximately 90 minutes later, after police found that he was not under the influence. Still, Tyga was ticketed for not having a drivers license and for not having insurance.
According to sources, T-Raww was only taken to the station to avoid making a scene, particularly given the crowd that had gathered where he was pulled over, including the presence of paparazzi.
Walking out of the police station, the “Act Ghetto” rapper was asked why he was arrested. “I’m a good looking rapper,” he said.
Earlier this week, Tyga was in Malibu shooting a video for “100’s” with Chief Keef and A.E. The clip comes ahead of his new mixtape Bitch I’m the Shit 2, which is due this year.
