Wiz Khalifa to Release 'Weed Farm' Mobile Game on 4/20

  /  04.12.2017

Wiz Khalifa continues to celebrate his love for marijuana with his first-ever mobile video game, “Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm.”

Fittingly, the game is set for release through the App Store and Google Play on April 20, otherwise known as the smoker’s holiday, 4/20. “It’s a fun game and I play it all the time,” said Khalifa. “Better than Pokémon!”

Users will be able to grow, harvest, and reinvest through the game, allowing fans a glimpse into the world of legalized cannabis, according to a press release.

“Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm” was made possible by Warner Music Artist Services, which supports Atlantic Records in opportunities like this. It was also released in partnership with Metamoki, a boutique game studio.

Fans can currently sign up for a sneak peek of the game on Wiz’s website. Those who do will also be up for several prizes, including a trip to the rapper’s Khalifa Kush dispensary in Colorado, VIP tickets to a concert on the “Wellness Retreat Tour,” and more.

Kicking off Thursday (April 13) in Seattle, the “Mount Kushmore: Wellness Retreat Tour” also features Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, Method Man & Redman, Lil Uzi Vert, Berner, and Flatbush Zombies. The trek comes to an end on May 2 in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
