Melanie Fiona takes on King Kendrick and Rihanna.

After flipping Joey Bada$$’s “Land of the Free,” the R&B songstress continues her ongoing mash-up series with K-Dot and Bad Gal’s “LOYALTY.” For this acoustic rendition, Melanie blends the DAMN. single with “It Kills Me,” a hit off her 2009 album The Bridge.

“It Kills Me” is Fiona’s highest-charting single to date, soaring to No. 43 back in 2010. Meanwhile, “LOYALTY.” is currently sitting at No. 14 on the Hot 100. It’s K-Dot’s third-highest charting single, behind “HUMBLE.,” which is presently No. 1, and “DNA.,” which is currently at No. 4.

In between her Joey and Kendrick covers, Melanie also recently flipped Khalid’s hit single “Location.” She blended the American Teen song with “Change the Record” off 2012’s The MF Life.

In the past, Fiona has also covered Drake’s “Started From the Bottom,” Kanye West’s “Heartless,” and The Notorious B.I.G.’s “One More Chance / Stay With Me (Remix).”

Beyond covers, Melanie is celebrating motherhood. Her son Cameron Lincoln just turned one last month.
