Switch, go, switch! Wale and G-Eazy brought “Fashion Week” to late night.
Two weeks after dropping his fifth studio album, SHINE, Folarin hit the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” stage for a rendition of his fashionable banger.
Backed by stunning screens, a DJ, and a live band, Wale launched into his catwalk anthem. As the neon colors of his album cover flashed across the screen, Folarin danced across the stage with a confident bop.
Young Gerald joined the festivities midway through the track to perform his verse. Standing next to Wale, Eazy spit about late nights and rumored flings, this shortly after Lana Del Rey relationship rumors surfaced.
“Fashion Week” is a single off SHINE, Wale’s fifth studio album, which faced underwhelming first-week sales, coming in at No. 16 on the Billboard 200. “I didn’t create enough awareness like I should have,” the MMG rapper told Complex. “I put it on me, I don’t put it on Atlantic.”
Folarin is currently on his “SHINE Tour,” which hits Scottsdale this evening (May 11). The jaunt is set to run through May 27 in Boston.
