New Music: Kat Dahlia - 'Friday Night Majic'
Kat Dahlia’s got that “Majic.”
Just in time for the weekend, the “Gangsta” superstar unleashes “Friday Night Majic,” a funky new joint produced by Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon.
“I got that bad shit that’s good for ya,” she sings with a seductive flare. “You know you wanna try / I got that magic that’ll keep you up.”
The infectious single’s addictive aura was purposeful, according to the Miami singer-songwriter. “‘Friday Night Majic’ is about the ‘majic’ that happens on a Friday night,” she told Genius. “Drugs, sex, & music are the common theme through out the song.”
Kat hasn’t released a full-length album since her 2015 debut My Garden, but last year, she unveiled her 20s, 50s, 100s EP. And now, it looks like she’s warming up for a new project.
