Video: Dave East - 'Party Monster'
Dave East is a “Party Monster” in the music video for his remix to The Weeknd’s Starboy smash.
Directed by Puma, the clip finds the Mass Appeal MC rhyming and smoking on a stoop, before hitting Instagram. “I’m on Karrueche’s page, liking wild pictures,” he raps, while the camera shows him on an IG liking spree.
Later, the visual shows Dave and his girl at a shoe store, where another couple is also shopping. When East greets the man, his partner gets upset and begins yelling at him. That’s where the visual ends with a “to be continued” promise.
Dave’s “Party Monster” East Mix is a precursor to his forthcoming Paranoia project, which is “coming soon,” according to the video. So far, no release date has been announced for the Kairi Chanel follow-up.
The Def Jam spitter has been teasing the project with a slew of East Mixes, including takes on French Montana’s “Unforgettable,” Drake’s “Free Smoke,” and Future’s “Mask Off.”
