New Music: Snoop Dogg feat. October London - 'Go On'
Still sizzling off the release of “Swivel,” Snoop Dogg unleashes “Go On,” an October London-assisted banger off his forthcoming album Neva Left.
Featuring a perfect soundscape for the summer from producer Brody Brown, “Go On” finds Snoop rhyming about fun under the sun. “This that time of the year for everybody to be boisterous,” he raps. “Rock with Snoop Dogg and rejoice to this.”
London takes over from there, singing about “a little sunshine, a drink, and the summer breeze,” before Tha Doggfather comes back for a second verse about his evolution. “Riding on the bike with my grandson at the park,” he raps. “Evolve while I elevate / Take flight, levitate.”
“Go On” is the latest release off Neva Left following “420 (Blaze Up),” “Trash Bags,” “Promise You This,” “Mount Kushmore,” and the controversial “Lavender (Nightfall Remix).”
To go along with his newest cut, Snoop also revealed the tracklisting for Neva Left. The 16-track project is set to feature Wiz Khalifa, K Camp, Method Man, Too $hort, Devin the Dude, KAYTRANADA, Nef the Pharaoh, Charlie Wilson, Teena Marie, and KRS-One, among others.
Neva Left is due Friday (May 19).
