Watch Drake Perform 'Gyalchester' in the Bellagio Fountains

Drake brought the fireworks—and the waterworks—to the Billboard Music Awards. After watching his Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj open the show, Drizzy set off an explosive performance of “Gyalchester.”

Since this wasn’t an ordinary set, Drizzy made sure that his location was extraordinary. Instead of performing at the T-Mobile Arena, like the show’s other performers, Drake took the cameras to the fountains of the Bellagio Hotel for a quintessential Las Vegas experience.

With flames bursting above his head, an amped-up Drake launched into his More Life standout with intensity. “Hermès link,” he rapped. Ice-blue mink / Tat on my ribs like I do not know what permanent is.” Meanwhile, the impressive fountain show — a staple of Sin City — splashed and sprayed behind him.

Nicki was certainly impressed. “The Drake set >>>>>>>>>,” she tweeted after his showing.

Drake’s BBMA night was more than just memorable. After coming into the show with the most nominations of the year — 22 — he’s already nabbed 12 trophies at press time.

Plus, Drizzy has been making the most of his time on the BBMA stage. While accepting the Top Billboard 200 Album for Views, the 6 God chose to squash his beef with Ludacris and celebrate his Young Money family members, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
