Video: Kid Ink feat. Starrah - 'No Strings'
Kid Ink takes flight.
Hot off last month’s 7 Series EP, the Batgang boss unleashes the previously-teased video for his Starrah-assisted single “No Strings.”
Directed by Mike Ho, the cinematic clip starts with Kid Ink flying through the air, playing the role of a pilot, Lieutenant Brian Todd Collins. His leading lady, the femme fatale Agent Kara, shoots him down and leaves him stranded as the sun sets on the desert.
From there, Ink revels in the wreckage, rapping his 7 Series standout as his plane burns to shreds around him. Soon, he joins Kara on a ride through the desolate land, as four-wheelers pop wheelies around them.
“No Strings” is one of eight cuts on 7 Series, which also featured Ty Dolla $ign (“F With U”) and 2 Chainz (“Swish”). After dropping 7 Series, Kid Ink also remixed Julia Michaels’ “Issues” and joined Chris Brown and Dolla on “Surprise You (The Life).”
