Lil Wayne Announces 3rd Annual Lil Weezyana Fest

  /  06.03.2017

Despite the legal battles that are keeping Lil Wayne from releasing his highly-anticipated album Tha Carter V, the Young Money boss has announced the third annual Lil Weezyana Fest.

This year’s show is set to take place Aug. 25 in Tunechi’s hometown of New Orleans, where his career started as a Cash Money millionaire. Wayne is expected to headline the event and special guests will be announced at a later date.

“New Orleans I love you and Thank You,” he tweeted. “Let’s celebrate once again!! #YOUNGMONEY.”

The first Lil Weezyana Fest was headlined by Wayne and a Hot Boys reunion, while ColleGrove, the duo of 2 Chainz and Tunechi, headlined last year’s event.

Although he hasn’t been able to drop his newest album, Wayne has been staying busy. He wrapped his “Kloser 2 U Tour” last month, dropped the once-vaulted T-Wayne album with T-Pain, and performed at the Billboard Music Awards with Nicki Minaj.
