Watch Lil Yachty Rap About 'The Simpsons' on 'Tonight Show'
Rocking his new Yachty Simpson chain, Lil Yachty teamed up with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon for a special “Tonight Show” performance on Thursday (June 16), in which he rapped about 59 different characters from “The Simpsons.”
With Fallon by his side, sporting an all yellow ensemble, Lil Boat started rhyming about the beloved Springfield family. “You got Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Bart,” he raps. “You got Maggie, and Santa’s Little Helper to start.”
Backed by a blue sky with white clouds — reminiscent of the show’s opening credits — Yachty kept going. From there, his bars referenced classic “Simpsons” characters like Chief Wiggum, Mayor Quimby, Hans Moleman, Kent Brockman, Barney, Moe, Krusty the Clown, and the friendliest neighbor, Ned Flanders, among many others.
Inspired by Gucci Mane’s famous Bart Simpson chain, Lil Boat recently got himself a Yachty Simpson pendent. Made to look like a “Simpsons” character, the piece features his trademark red braids and clear beads.
In 2012, Yachty also commented on his likeness to Bart. “I loook like Bart simpson,” he tweeted. In September of that same year, he cryptically added: “Glow in the dark , Bart Simpson haircut.”

Lil Yachty’s Teenage Emotions is currently No. 29 on the Billboard 200 while the album’s “Peek-a-Boo” single is No. 89 on the Hot 100. Boat also appears at No. 19 with his guest appearance on KYLE’s “iSpy.” He is currently working on his sophomore album.
