Listen to Blue Ivy's '4:44' Freestyle

  /  07.06.2017

Watch the throne. After making her debut on 2012’s “Glory,” Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s five-and-a-half-year-old daughter Blue Ivy—heir to the Carter dynasty—unleashes her first rap on her father’s new song “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family.”

The track, which quickly became a trending topic upon its release, features B.I.C. rapping for 45 seconds straight. While some of her rhymes are hard to decipher, Blue proves that she’s already following in her parents’ famous footsteps.

“Never seen a ceiling in my whole life,” she boasts. “Boom shakalaka, boom shakalaka, everything in shaka, everything in faka.”

“Blue’s Freestyle” appears as a bonus track on the physical release of JAY’s platinum album 4:44, along with “Adnis” and the James Blake-assisted “ManyFacedGod.”
