Big Sean Performs 'I Decided.' Medley on 'GMA'

  /  07.07.2017

Rain didn’t stop Big Sean from shining on “Good Morning America.” On Friday (July 7), the Detroit spitter joined “GMA” for a special medley of tracks off his latest album, I Decided.

During a solo performance of “Light,” Sean Don stopped to speak to the crowd about naysayers and positivity. “They could take shots at us,” he said. “They can tear us down but what you gotta understand [is] our bodies are just a shell. But what they can’t take away is our impact, our ideas, what we leave behind.”

The G.O.O.D. Music rhymesayer went on to explain how the song is meant to prove that a positive “Light” will shine regardless due to karma. “It don’t matter what skin color you are,” he added. “Make sure you spread that light. I realize that karma is a real thing and if you put that light, that energy out there, you gon’ get nothing but success. I truly mean that.”

“Light” wasn’t the only song that Big Sean had in store for the crowd. He also performed “Jump Out the Window,” as the crowd waved their hands side to side in the midst of the rainy “Summer Concert Series” show.

The hits kept coming. Sean Don also showed off his “Moves,” performing the smash hit off I Decided. while fans sang along. Despite the rain, the Detroit spitter made New York City move with a rendition of “Bounce Back,” too.

Sean has other reasons to celebrate. The rapper just collaborated with Desiigner on “Liife (Remix),” and his Eminem collaboration “No Favors” was just certified gold by the RIAA. “Moves” and I Decided also went gold recently, while “Bounce Back” has earned a platinum plaque.
