Sevyn Streeter Performs 'Before I Do' on 'Wendy'

Hot off the release of her debut album Girl Disrupted, Sevyn Streeter paid a visit to “The Wendy Williams Show” on Tuesday (July 11) for a sweet and melodic performance of “Before I Do.”

Dressed in all white, Sevyn was surrounded by glowing blue, green, and aqua lights, while belting out the emotional ballad. “I wanna let go, but I don’t really know, I heard you got a girlfriend,” she sang. “Say it ain’t so, you ain’t on the low, I don’t think I could handle it.”

Wendy looked on while Sevyn performed and afterwards, she praised her short white skirt and white blouse combo. “Leave your outfit at the door,” she said. “Ah,” Streeter replied. “Thank you!”

The “Anything U Want” singer’s gratitude continued on social media. “Had a blast performing on @wendyshow today😜,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thx girl😘.”

Featuring the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Wiz Khalifa, DeJ Loaf, August Alsina, and Dave East, Girl Disrupted is out now.

The R&B songstress recently spoke with Rap-Up about the project. “Over the last year and a half, I think that every possible thing that I could go through, I went through, whether it was dealing with depression or dealing with trying to date someone again, or feeling like you work really, really hard and not getting as far as you would like to in your career,” she said. “All of those things are real life things that people deal with. In one way or another, I wrote about that on my album.”
