New Music: Kodak Black - 'Dream Girl'

  /  08.01.2017

Before releasing Project Baby 2, Kodak Black serenades his “Dream Girl” on a new freestyle warm-up for his upcoming effort.

It appears the song was crafted using improvised rhymes from Lil Kodak, who acknowledges this throughout the track. “You’re making me freestyle,” he raps. “You’re making my cheeks smile.”

Although the song is meant to be about his “Dream Girl,” Kodak weaves in and out of topics with stream of consciousness rhymes. “I don’t even know what I’m doing,” he admits. “I’m just freestyling for you, babe / I don’t want to lose, bae / Put that pussy on my teeth like toothpaste.”

Kodak calls this a “teaser” for Project Baby 2, which is set to arrive later this year. It follows the Future-assisted “Boost My Ego” and “Just a Wrap Freestyle.”

Project Baby 2 is a sequel to the 2013 original and a follow-up to last year’s Painting Pictures. Listen to “Dream Girl” below.
