New Music: Trina - 'Get Money'
Trina is out to “Get Money.”
In between her reported beef with Khia and Kim B Rocs, Da Baddest Bitch unleashes a new single from her forthcoming solo album, The One, which is due next month.
Trina unloads on her haters over an instrumental that samples the Roland sound effect “169 Aaaah!,” which has been used on tracks by Nelly, Travis Scott, and Nicki Minaj.
“I’m tryin’ not to trip,” raps the Diamond Princess. “Can’t let that jealousy get the best of me, gotta keep my mind on the chip / Money on my mind / That gossip won’t get your stacks up, how you gon’ hustle blind?”
“Get Money” arrives ahead of Trina’s sixth LP The One. Due Sept. 8, Trina’s first album in seven years is set to feature DJ Khaled, Tory Lanez, K. Michelle, 2 Chainz, Boosie Badazz, Dave East, and Lil Wayne.
