Stream Daniel Caesar’s Debut Album ‘Freudian’

After earning acclaim for his soulful voice, rising R&B singer Daniel Caesar unleashes his highly-anticipated debut album, Freudian.

The burgeoning crooner gets help from some female collaborators on the 10-song project. Kali Uchis (“Get You”), H.E.R. (“Best Part”), Syd (“Take Me”), and Charlotte Day Wilson (“Transform”) all pop up with guest appearances.

Elsewhere, the Toronto native handles the project on his own, delivering a “conversational” and “confessional” tone. “Freudian is a confessional,” he said. “It’s about taking a look inward and trying to understand myself through my relationships. I’m really proud of what I’ve created with my friends. I’m more exposed than ever on this album, but also my most confident.”

Earlier this month, Caesar made his late-night debut, performing “Get You” and “We Find Love” on “The Late Late Show.”

Next month, he is hitting the road in support of Freudian with Snoh Aalegra on select dates. Kicking off Sept. 10 in Anaheim, the trek is set to continue across North America through Dec. 16 in Toronto.
