Video: DRAM feat. A$AP Rocky & Juicy J - 'Gilligan'
DRAM, A$AP Rocky, and Juicy J get lost like “Gilligan” in the colorful and booty-full video for their rambunctious collaboration.
Directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, the visual starts with an animated version of the “Gilligan’s Island” theme song, but it’s not a three-hour tour. Instead, Skipper DRAM gets distracted by lightning bolts emerging from a butt in the clouds before the crew gets shipwrecked.
The video takes on a whole different tone from there. First, a weather girl shakes her tail feather through slits in her leather skirt. Then, Juicy, Rocky, and Big Baby shoot lasers from their eyes to create tears in other womens’ skirts outside of an old-fashioned grocery store.
Rocking colorful garments, the rap trio is surrounded by Stepford Wives-inspired ladies in vintage garments and hairstyles. The off-the-wall visual also includes nearly-naked twerkers, a tiny Chihuahua, huge Dalmatians, an elderly butler, and an awkward dinner where a giant booty gets served up on a platter.
After releasing his debut album Big Baby DRAM in October 2016, the “Broccoli” rapper has been on the road. He is currently on the second leg of Kendrick Lamar’s “The DAMN. Tour,” which wraps Sept. 2 in Miami.
