New Music: Sammie feat. Rick Ross - 'Good Life'

Welcome to the “Good Life.”

Shortly after premiering “Too Long” with Rap-Up, Sammie proves that he’s living the “Good Life” on his collaboration with Rick Ross.

The smooth R&B track plays like a mellow remix to Shy Glizzy’s “So Awesome” and Kanye West’s “Good Life” with Sammie’s soothing crooning. “I’m so awesome,” he sings. “I’m so awesome / Money over everything, yeah, that’s the motto / Welcome to the good life.”

Meanwhile, Renzel delivers a boastful verse, referencing surgically-enhanced bodies, championship rings, and a new lover. “Shoutout Dr. Miami, he keeps the ass the softest,” he raps. “Rings on every finger, Fat Boy the new Tom Brady / Had her move in with me, now the roommates be hating.”

“Good Life” and “Too Long” appear on Sammie’s Coming of Age. Due Sept. 15, the project is also set to feature an appearance from Eric Bellinger (“Show and Tell”).
