Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe

New Music: The Cool Kids feat. Jeremih - '9:15Pm'

  /  09.02.2017

The Cool Kids are back.

After announcing Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe, their first album in six years, the duo of Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks returns with “9:15Pm,” an old school-flavored banger featuring Jeremih.

With the R&B crooner handling the song’s infectious hook, Inglish and Rocks borrow inspiration from classic hip-hop records, including Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight.”

“If the Trump campaign can run these states,” raps Sir Michael Rocks. “Then this shit fin’a break and I can’t wait.”

“9:15Pm” is a single off The Cool Kids’ forthcoming album, Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe, which is also set to feature Hannibal Buress, Travis Barker, Syd, and more. The 16-track set is available for pre-order now and will be released Sept. 15.

The Cool Kids broke onto the scene with “Black Mags” off 2008’s The Bake Sale. In 2011, they released their debut album, and their only full-length release, When Fish Ride Bicycles.
