Watch A$AP Rocky & Lil Uzi Vert Freestyle Over Metro Boomin Beats

  /  09.09.2017

A$AP Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert flaunt their freestyle skills in an artistic mash-up video off the AWGE DVD film.

Inspired by Metro Boomin, who plays beats out of his car in Atlanta, Uzi and Rocky go back-and-forth, trading verses about an assortment of subjects, ranging from diamonds and dancing to fornicating with milfs and their daughters.

“Look at the stance,” raps Rocky. “Yellow laces in the Vans / Pants came from Japan / Bitches way up out in France.”

Without missing a beat, Uzi jumps right into the rhyme scheme. “Pants came form Japan,” he raps. “Shirt came straight from France / Everybody do my dance / Bad bitch on me in the stance / But not talkin’ ’bout no socks.”

The stream of consciousness raps are divided into segments as part of the longer art doc visual. Fans have chopped it up and spliced it together to make a more complete freestyle. The rest of the AWGE video features similarly grainy videos of Rocky and friends, including The Weeknd, Tyler, the Creator, Chief Keef, Playboi Carti, and more, according to Complex.

This isn’t the first time that Rocky and Uzi have collaborated. In fact, they also joined forces on “RAF” and “New Level (Remix).” Vert was also part of A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes, Vol. 1: Friends – and Cozy Tapes, Vol. 2: Too Cozy.
