After wowing fans at the MTV Video Music Awards, Logic earns his first top 5 single ever with “1-800-273-8255.”

The suicide prevention anthem, which is named after the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, is currently No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid, the single puts forth a message of hope in the face of life-threatening despair.

“1-800” marks Logic’s highest-charting single to date by far, beating out “Everybody,” which peaked at No. 59. Both songs come from his third and latest major label studio album, Everybody, which topped the Billboard 200 upon its release.

During his MTV VMA performance of “1-800,” Logic spoke to the crowd about his artistic mission both with the song and album. “I am here to fight for your equality,” he said. “I believe that we are all born equal but we are not treated equally and that is why we must fight for the equality of every man, woman, and child regardless of race, religion, color, creed, or sexual orientation.”

Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” jumps up to No. 2, marking her highest-charting single to date. See the rest of the chart breakdown below.
