Video: Rich the Kid - 'Cookies & Sherbert'
Rich the Kid is serving “Cookies & Sherbert” in the video for his latest single.
Directed by Good Boy Shady, the neon-colored clip finds Rich tripping out throughout, seeing his body melt on the streets, where objects are blurred and distorted with special effects. Counting and throwing money, The Kid blows smoke in the air without a care.
Elsewhere, Rich finds himself on steps or in the kitchen, rapping about cookies, lean, and Percocet. In between scenes, a curvaceous model licks ice cream while sporting a bikini.
“I’m mixing them cookies with sherbert,” he raps. “I need a Fanta, got syrup / I get the money you heard / Young ni**a hop out the ‘vert / I got customers / I might fuck on her / I might pop a perc, I might make it work.”
“Cookies & Sherbert” is expected to appear on Rich the Kid’s upcoming project New Freezer, which is set to arrive Sept. 29 with a Kendrick Lamar collaboration.
