Video: Jevon Doe feat. Fre$h - 'All I Ever Wanted'
Rising Houston rapper Jevon Doe rides through Los Angeles in the fast and furious video for “All I Ever Wanted,” his Fre$h-assisted single off My Life Changed Pt. 1.
The quick-paced visual was shot in front of recognizable downtown L.A. landmarks, including City Hall, the 2nd Street Tunnel, and the Caltrans District 7 Headquarters at 3 a.m. With Fre$h in the driver’s seat of a blue Porsche 911, Jevon provides scenic views of the City of Angels with a brash attitude.
“All a ni**a ever wanted was to get my mom the house she always wanted,” raps a shirtless Jevon. “All a ni**a ever wanted was to get a million dollars and a Rollie, yeah / I got all a ni**a ever wanted.”
“I wanted the video to portray the feel I first got when I heard the beat, raw and uncut,” he told Rap-Up. “The energy in the beat had to match the visual. So we went to downtown L.A. at 3 a.m. to shoot the video, racing through the streets in a Porsche!”
“All I Ever Wanted” is the latest cut off last month’s My Life Changed Pt. 1, a 6-track effort that also features appearances by Kap G, TK Kravitz, and K’ron. Up next, Jevon is set to take the stage at The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood on Sept. 20.
