Lil Uzi Vert Teases 'Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World 2'

  /  09.16.2017

Lil Uzi Vert’s battle with the world isn’t over.

After topping the Billboard 200 with his debut album Luv Is Rage 2, the eccentric rhymer has announced that he could be working on Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World 2, the sequel to last year’s original.

Posting a teaser of the song, the shoulder-shimmying MC added a caption of emojis that indicate the sequel might be on its way. “Just A Vibe💨,” he wrote. “👨🏾‍🎤vs🌏2(r) ? 🙄.”

“What, you thought I wasn’t gonna come through?” he sings on the track. “What, you thought I wasn’t gonna get comfortable / You know I wouldn’t do this if it was true / I know what I can and what I can’t do / I know every time that I’ma come through.”

Uzi’s prolific streak doesn’t end there. Recently, one of his heroes, Marilyn Manson, revealed that he will be in the studio with Vert. “He wants to do a rock album next, and I would love to see that happen because I think that he could make a new thing,” he said. “Not some rock/rap type of thing, something special and new that I think needs to be created just to fuck the world up more.

“I think that if I had to pick what Lil Uzi Vert should be, if he’s involved in rock, it’s an early Bad Brains or Faith No More, but with a catchier element,” he added. “I think he has punk rock in him. He’s a lil’ crazy motherfucker. And good. Smart as fuck. He has an attitude like I did, and I like that about him.”
