Miguel is Luke Skywalkin’ on “The Late Show.”
The R&B crooner brought “Sky Walker” to Stephen Colbert’s program on Wednesday (Sept. 20), where he performed a stripped-down rendition of his Travis Scott-assisted single.
Joined by three musicians and backed by images of an explosion, Miguel belted out the track with a mellow tone. Seeming relaxed, the acoustic performance took on a campfire vibe.
As a “Late Show” online bonus, Miguel returned with his band for a rendition of “Come Through and Chill,” which he first released last year. With his hands in his pockets, the R&B star kept the mellow vibes going with the raunchy single.
“Just say you will, come through and chill,” he crooned on stage, before cleaning up the track for late night. “I wanna touch all night.”
During his late-night appearance, Colbert also revealed that Miguel’s upcoming album is titled War & Leisure. The follow-up to 2015’s Wildheart is expected to feature “Sky Walker” as well as “Shockandawe.”
