Video: Macklemore feat. Kesha - 'Good Old Days'

  /  09.21.2017

Macklemore and Kesha revisit the magic of the “Good Old Days” in the vintage-themed video for their new Gemini collaboration.

Directed by Johnny Valencia, the grainy visual finds Macklemore and Kesha on a voyage through the woods, where they have fun with friends and perform music at a friend’s birthday party.

The heartwarming clip also finds the duo embracing one another, laying down together, filming each other with a vintage camera, and resting warmly by a campfire while singing about the past. “Someday soon, your whole life’s gonna change,” sings Kesha. “You’ll miss the magic of these good old days.”

Recently, the Seattle spitter spoke about what it was like to collaborate with the pop songstress. “She is a great spirit,” he said. “She is someone that I walked into the room and I immediately just caught a vibe with and became friends with pretty instantaneously. … She’s a musician, she’s a writer, she’s someone that is not afraid to try ideas in the studio, not afraid to get vulnerable in front of people, not scared to go for the high note when she doesn’t know if she can hit it or not. She is a musician in every sense of the word, and she’s hilarious.”

Featuring Lil Yachty, Offset, and Skylar Grey, Gemini is due at midnight.
