On the heels of “Pick Me Up” and “My Man,” Tamar Braxton continues to tease Bluebird of Happiness with her latest release, “Blind.”

Taking a page of inspiration from Etta James’ classic “I’d Rather Go Blind,” Braxton belts her heart out on the moving R&B ballad. “I’d rather go blind than to see you with her tonight,” she sings. “I’m done with your lies, but I can’t say goodbye / So, I’d rather go blind.”

Taking to Instagram, Tamar explained the song’s significance. “‘Blind’ is One of the most PERSONAL records on my new album,” she wrote, along with a sensual preview for an upcoming video.

This is the latest release from Braxton, who recently joined the lineup for Xscape’s “The Great Xscape Tour,” which is set to kick off Nov. 22 with special guest Monica.

Before hitting the road, Tamar will release her new album Bluebird of Happiness on Sept. 29 featuring a collaboration with Yo Gotti.
