Cardi B might not be dropping an album on her birthday, like she initially planned to do, but she is promising to deliver a freestyle on the big day.

Taking the stage at Columbia, South Carolina’s Fall Ball 2017, Bardi revealed the news. “I gotta let you know a secret,” she said. “I’m dropping my freestyle on my birthday, bitch. That’s October 11!”

It is unclear whether that freestyle will be the unreleased song that she previewed late last month. Some claimed the track, which features her autobiographical bars about stripping, social media fame, and authenticity, had a Meek Mill-like delivery.

During the concert where she announced the freestyle, Bacardi also denounced critics who say that she sounds like other rappers on her songs, following her Kodak Black-inspired hit “Bodak Yellow” and the Plies-influenced “Foreva.”

“I’ma sound like all your favorite rappers, I’ma take all they flows, and I’ma body it, bitch,” she said. “One day, I’ma sound like Kodak, the next day, I’ma sound like Meek Mills, the next day, I’ma sound like Migos. I don’t give a fuck ’cause at the end of the day, bitch, I give it up with that pen.”

This isn’t the first time she’s promised the freestyle. Last month, after her historic No. 1 single, Bardi said her freestyle would act as a gift for fans. “Since ya’ll helped me get to No. 1,” she said, “I’m gonna drop a freestyle, a freestyle that I did with my whole entire cockroach heart ’cause my heart is very little, like a cockroach.”
