Video: Jazmine Sullivan & Bryson Tiller - 'Insecure'

  /  10.03.2017

Jazmine Sullivan and Bryson Tiller head to Inglewood in the video for their “Insecure” collaboration off the show’s Season 2 soundtrack.

Filmed at The Dunes apartments, which have become famous thanks to the HBO series, the dimly-lit visual finds Sullivan FaceTiming Issa Rae from a house party, while getting text messages from an overbearing partner.

Meanwhile, Bryson Tiller spends the evening singing to himself in the apartment’s bathroom. Denouncing a control freak, Pen Griffey shows his frustrations with his hands on his face. “Sorry if I’m coming off insecure,” he sings, before packing his bags and leaving.

Through text message conversations and flirtatious moments, the visual also plays out like an episode of the critically-acclaimed series. Plus, it features cameos from “Insecure” regulars like Natasha Rothwell and Amanda “Diva” Seales.

In addition to the title track, the soundtrack also features music by SZA, GoldLink, Buddy, Lion Babe, and Jorja Smith, among others.
