Miguel Performs 'Sky Walker' & Covers Jorja Smith's 'On My Mind'

  /  10.11.2017

Miguel headed to London town for a performance on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s “Live Lounge.”

During his visit, the Los Angeles crooner gave his British fans a taste of his forthcoming album with the Travis Scott-assisted “Sky Walker” sans La Flame. Backed by his band, Miguel revamped the track with a special iteration, ranging from upbeat to mellow with beat changes in between.

For his cover, Miguel selected “On My Mind” from England’s own Jorja Smith. Supported by an electric guitar, the R&B crooner flexed his soothing vocals. “Now I’m growing wise to your sugar-coated lies,” he sang. “Nothing’s sweet about my misery.”

After dropping “Sky Walker,” Miguel has unleashed “Shockandawe” and collaborated on KYLE’s “Sunshine.” Next up, he is set to release his first album since 2015’s Wildheart.
