Video: Snoh Aalegra feat. Vince Staples - 'Nothing Burns Like the Cold'
Ahead of her debut album FEELS, Snoh Aalegra debuts the mysterious video for “Nothing Burns Like the Cold,” her soulful collaboration with Vince Staples.
The clip finds Snoh as a Stepford Wife, serving cereal for Vince, who appears to be in a television trance. Soon, Aalegra and Staples look at one another with possessed looks on their faces, eyes shining with a purple iris glow.
“She was the strongest and the weakest at the same time,” reads the video caption. “Another day, she chooses to close her eyes. Trapped in the darkness. How do you break free when your heart will not obey?”
Aalegra’s 13-track debut FEELS arrives Oct. 20, featuring contributions from No I.D., Logic, Vic Mensa, and Timbuktu.
You can catch Snoh opening for Daniel Caesar on his North American tour, which kicks off Oct. 16 in Philadelphia.
