YG Announces 'The Boogie' All-Star Weekend Event

  /  10.16.2017

YG is ready to get his “Boogie” on at his All-Star Weekend bash.

The first annual event, in collaboration with 4Hunnid and Goldenvoice, is scheduled to take place Feb. 17 — during the NBA’s All-Star festivities — at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The lineup will feature some of YG’s famous friends, but no names have been announced yet.

The Boogie

This is a momentous occasion for the 4Hunnid boss, because it is his “official return” to Los Angeles since the LAPD banned “all local YG related performances,” according to a press release.

This is likely what YG was referring to last week, when he tweeted: “Announcing something big for LA real soon.”

YG is coming off a string of loose singles, while preparing Know Your Worth, the follow-up to last year’s Still Brazy.

Tickets for American Express members go on sale Oct. 18, followed by the general pre-sale on Oct. 19. General tickets will be available beginning Oct. 20.
