Injured Fan's Mother Sides with Travis Scott in Concert Lawsuit

A Travis Scott fan named Kyle Green is suing the rapper after falling from a balcony at one of his concerts. However, the young man’s mother has already said that La Flame was not responsible for her son’s injuries.

Green’s lawsuit claims that Scott influenced the crowd to do wild things like jump from elevated areas, according to TMZ. Although he says he didn’t jump, something caused him to fall and his injuries were severe.

The young man also claims that he wasn’t treated properly once he fell. According to his lawsuit, he was picked up without a cervical collar or backboard. Now, he is partially paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair, according to his lawyer.

However, in a letter to Scott, Green’s mother said that her son doesn’t hold him “accountable for what happened.” She also promised that “he will not take any legal action” against the rapper.

Green’s mother claimed that someone pushed him off the balcony and that she “would never punish someone who was trying to help” him. “Kyle has said that he will never forget your kindness and encouragement during that terrifying time,” she added.

In footage from the concert in question, Green is seen climbing a railing before falling to the ground. Scott saw what happened and requested help.

“That person that jumped from the third story, somebody help them get up, please,” he said. “Their legs broke? Whoever you are, I owe you a chain. You just sacrificed your limbs. I don’t know why you did that. But I love you so much. Everybody make some noise for that real motherfucker right there. Nobody harder than that ni**a right there. Tonight goes in the legendary books. Open it up. Let’s get him out safe.”

Scott reportedly gave Green a $100,000 ring and FaceTimed him at the hospital.

Several other fans jumped from the second story balcony at the same show, including one who was encouraged to jump by Travis. “They gon’ catch you,” he told one fan. “Don’t be scared!”

Following Green’s injury, however, Scott’s team issued a statement about safety at his shows. “The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again,” said a spokesperson for the rapper. “We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support.”
