A$AP Rocky Breaks Up Fight, Makes Fans Hug It Out
A$AP Rocky keeps the peace.
During a recent A$AP Mob concert, Lord Flacko Jodye III stopped two fans from fighting, brought them onstage, and made them hug it out.
In a video from the set, Rocky is shown speaking with a 20-year-old fan named Vic and a 17-year-old supporter named Anthony, who were involved in a skirmish at the show.
“He’s 17,” Rocky told Vic. “You’re not supposed to be fighting him anyway…When I was 17, I was fighting motherfuckers [who were] 28, 29. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win, but you still fight…But listen, at an A$AP show, y’all are considered family.”

He went on to explain that fans are meant to get aggressive, releasing tension in the mosh pit, but that fighting wouldn’t be tolerated. “You paid money to celebrate us and celebrate yourself,” he added. “This is culture. It’s not just music. I want you to know I love you…I want y’all to give dap and hug it out real quick.” The young men hugged it out and peace prevailed.
Rocky is no stranger to danger. When he was 15, he reportedly got into a fight with an older man who gun-butted him, creating a scar on his face. At a 2012 show, Rocky also encouraged fans to “beat” up a concertgoer for stealing his Rolex.
A$AP Mob is currently on the “Too Cozy Tour,” which is set to wrap tonight in Broomfield, Colo.
