Kid Cudi Brings Out Kanye West in Chicago

  /  11.05.2017

Kanye West returned to the stage on Saturday (Nov. 4), as the G.O.O.D. Music boss joined his longtime collaborator Kid Cudi at his show in Chicago.

In front of Cudder’s smoky forest backdrop, Yeezy removed his hoodie to reveal himself to the Aragon Ballroom crowd. Together, the duo launched into an energetic rendition of “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1” off last year’s The Life of Pablo.

Chance the Rapper celebrated the news on Twitter. “Kid Cudi just brought out Kanye in Chicago,” he tweeted.

Last year, Cudi and Yeezy went through some major ups and downs. In September, Cudder bashed West during a Twitter tirade. Kanye responded by demanding that he never “mention ‘Ye name” again. Soon, however, the duo appeared to reconcile. Yeezy even called Cudi the “most influential artist of the past 10 years.”

Both artists also went through personal issues. Cudi went to rehab for depression and suicidal urges, while West was hospitalized after a reported breakdown. The frequent collaborators apparently supported one another through these ordeals and are now rumored to be working on a joint project.
