Fresh off the release of his double album 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time, Big K.R.I.T. unleashes a fiery freestyle.

Twenty years after JAY-Z’s In My Lifetime, Vol. 1, Young Krizzle honors the album by rhyming over “Imaginary Players” during a visit to Power 106’s L.A. Leakers.

Wearing shades, the Mississippi rapper delivers a nuanced rhyme about his independence, freedom from Def Jam, and even throws in some H-O-V references.

“Your album flopped? Here’s a tissue,” he raps. “There ain’t enough streams that I could wish you / To get that budget back / Once you’re in the red, you can’t fade to black / ‘Cause you ain’t Jay and ain’t no blueprint to pay it back.”

Featuring T.I., Lloyd, UGK, CeeLo Green, Sleepy Brown, and Bilal, 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200.
